I’m thrilled to share the news that I am speaking at Bett Global 2026. Bett is the world’s biggest celebration of education & this year the show is dedicated to exploring the powerful theme: learning without limits. 🎤

My talk is titled AAC in specialist education: A parent’s perspective & I will be speaking at the SEND Theatre on Wednesday 21st January at 12:10pm. I would love to see you there!

As the parent of an AAC user the theme “learning without limits” means a lot to me. Non-speaking individuals can, sometimes unknowingly from all involved, have an incredible amount of limits placed upon them. My son’s AAC device enables him to showcase his skills, the way he learns, his personality & the huge amount of knowledge that he has.

I will continue to shout from the rooftops about the huge power of AAC & in turn advocate for all who need it to have the chance to show the world exactly who they are & what they can do.
