This morning I had the pleasure of sharing our AAC lived experience at the Speech and Language Therapy Study Day! I loved sharing our AAC magical moments, our challenges & how Ethan uses his AAC to empower every area of his life. But, most of all I adore sharing the videos of Ethan using his AAC device – I still smile every single time I watch them back.

I love delivering these presentations & getting a chance to share our lived experience with Speech Therapists, AT professionals, AAC companies, Speech Therapy students – the list goes on. I hope they take away just how powerful AAC can be for high needs autistic children, just like Ethan & what can be achieved when barriers & myths are pushed aside.
